School of Rock Rocks
We saw School of Rock a couple of nights ago at the Riverview, just four blocks away. While it was formulaic and a little slow at times, I had a lot of fun by the end of the movie. The adults did a fine job, with a great performance (reminiscent of John Belushi) by Jack Black, the kids were truly the stars of the show. And for the first time in my life, I was not the only one to stay in the theater until the end of the credits. That alone makes this movie definitely Worth a Matinee.
